Who We Are

 Kinsey Consulting is a veteran-owned small business based in Frederick, MD. Founder and owner, Ed Kinsey, served 6 years in the U.S. Air Force where he was assigned to Presidential support, among his other assignments.

In  2005, after accumulating over ten years of both military and  private-sector experience in security, Ed began consulting for companies who solicited his support for their industrial security programs.  Among our clients are a former employer, several international companies, and businesses from a broad range of industries serving the  U.S. federal government.  

A  team of security professionals comprises decades of experience across many disciplines including the military and industry to provide expert  consulting to our clients.  From Foreign Ownership Control and Influence (FOCI) mitigation and obtaining approvals to operate (ATO) under the risk management framework (RMF), to security education and training, no task is too complex or small for us.
